Pricing
Pricing is determined based on the article’s length, length to research appropriate sources and additional requirements set by you, the customer.
If you order more than five articles, I will charge per project, which tends to be cheaper than ordering individual articles.
This is what I typically (but not always) charge for various types of articles with exclusive-rights pricing:
- General web content: $20 per 500 words, but never more than $25.
- SEO-driven web content: $25-$30 per 500 words.
- Product reviews: $15-$20 per 500 word review, but will be drastically reduced for complimentary samples of the product.
- Product descriptions: $5 per description, with a discount given on bulk orders.
- Biographies: Varies a lot. I may charge $30 for simple biographies, with prices going up to $100 for more complex biographies.
- Interviews: Because of the extra time I put into compiling an interview, it may range from $35 to $70.
- Promotional articles: $20-25 per 500 word article.
- Tutorials: This is entirely dependent on the length. I start at $25 for a 400 word tutorial.
- Blog posts: I typically charge from $15 to $25 per blog post, depending on the nature of the post.
- Twitter services: Depending on what services your order, it may range from $35 to $100. If you want continual maintenance of your Twitter account, my weekly fees range from $75 to $150.
How to Save on My Services
Want to save money? I have plenty of non-exclusive articles available that I can sell to you at a discounted price. Additionally, I can rewrite any of my previously published articles for your website.
You can also purchase limited rights to any articles I create for you. This means you’ll need to add my byline to the end of the article, with a link back to my website. I cut my price by half for limited rights articles.
You can also enter a payment plan for bulk articles. You can pay on a weekly or bi-monthly basis after the articles are created.
Remember, I am always willing to work with your budget. We can always work something out, and I am almost always willing to work out a plan that meets your financial needs.
