@mplscheapeats: After becoming the official Minneapolis Cheap Eats Examiner in April 2009, I also set up the official Minneapolis Cheap Eats Twitter, where I amassed a small following, interacted regularly with local residents and restaurants and updated new Examiner articles to its feed. Several notable local celebrities added me during this time, including Kare 11 anchorman Eric Perkins and Bill Daley, a food and wine critic for the Chicago Tribune.
